Birds seen at our Mill
Here are some of the birds we see at our Mill ... many fly around all day, blackbird lives in the wisteria, robin likes to sit on fences and watch us, the yellow wagtails whiz around the mill race and stream, the blue tits and flycatcher love the food Phil puts out for them, the larger birds fly around our trees ... and if you're lucky you may catch a glimpse of the shy ones!

Village of Montcaret
Our village has the best baker for miles! But also what was once one of the most important Roman villas in the South West. Canoeing on the Dordogne
There are canoeing clubs in Pessac-en-Dordogne and in St. Antoine du Breuilh, both less than 10 minutes away. Castillon la Bataille and the Hundred Years War
Castillon la Bataille is another local town, just 15 mins away. Its Restaurant, Guinguette la Plage, has fun dining by the river on the Right Bank opposite the town.
